As of January 2026, I have worked in medical communications as a medical writer for over eight years. This includes six years within an agency where I progressed to scientific director level.
My primary area of expertise is developing materials for medical affairs and commercial teams. This includes delivery of all types of meeting, including standalone meetings, symposia, advisory boards, product theatres, and roundtables. I also have strong experience developing training materials for both internal and external audiences. My core speciality is oncology. I have worked across multiple tumour types, with extensive experience in non-small cell lung cancer, breast cancer, genitourinary tumours, and diagnostics. I am comfortable picking up new indications quickly with minimal oversight. I also have strong experience in respiratory diseases (asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and rare disease (Gaucher disease).

Yes. As a scientific director, a key part of my role involved strategic and brand planning, scientific consultancy, and driving account growth through strong client partnerships. While these activities form a smaller part of my freelance work, I am happy to provide strategic support where needed.
